SIDE NOTE: As I’m writing this post my channel just hit 80,000 subscribers and I’m low key having a panic attack from excitement lol.
Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah, shoes! In this post I’m going to be giving you some insight into my newest pickups (which are f#cking epic by the way) from Eve and Kane and what made me even want to write about them.
So when it comes to product reviews and brands, in order for me to want to write about them, there’s got to be something unique about the product or the message they have.
The special thing about the Eve and Kane brand, is their mission is to provide affordable luxury for guys who take pride in their appearance without the excessive price tag.
If you are still reading you must know what I mean about wanting good quality shit for reasonable prices. Don’t be afraid to give me your 2 cents on this topic in the comments.
Apart from Eve and Kane having an appealing message, they also make kick ass loafers! I think loafers are an excellent shoe for a guy to have in his arsenal as they can be styled casually, formally and everything in between. Here’s what I loved most about the loafers I got from Eve and Kane.
Tons of Variety
One thing I found really cool on the Eve & Kane website was the variety of colours and styles they had to offer. Some would say it’s overwhelming having too much to choose from, but I say the more the merrier.
If you know your individual style, you shouldn’t really have a problem finding what you want and if you’re not sure about your individual style, then all the more reason to explore it, right?
Legit though, there’s probably 10 different styles on the Eve and Kane website that made me shoegasm a bit but realistically, picking 2 styles was the more practical solution.
I ended up grabbing the St.Tropez - Cherry Leather loafers and the St.Tropez - Caramel Leather loafers, both of which matched my individual style perfectly and scream quality.
Stylability of Eve and Kane Shoes
Let me just cut the bullshit right now, the MAIN reason I’ll buy a pair of shoes is because I think they are going to add to my aesthetic, anyone else agree? Comfort is also a factor along with features but the main thing I want the shoe to do is help me look good. There, I said it haha, and these shoes did exactly that!
At the time of creating this post I was in Spain in a awesome little town called Santo Domingo and the scenery and architecture there was just too beautiful to not get some accidentally on purpose candid shots of me loving life in these Eve and Kane loafers lol.
I said earlier in this post these shoes are a great asset to have in your arsenal as they can suit just about any occasion. I didn’t have any “formal” clothes packed with me on this vacation however, I managed to pull together a nice smart/casual outfit to wear with the cherry red loafers and a plain but stylish casual outfit for the caramel ones. (See below)
It might be weird to say but I feel like these shoes are just so European. I mean look at these pictures, they just look like they fit perfectly with my surroundings, you know?
Anyway, my choices ended up being great ones and I’m really glad to have these puppies in my shoe collection now!
Genuine Leather
Another great feature about the Eve and Kane shoe range is that ALL the shoes are made from genuine suede and leather. This was almost a little hard to believe to begin with because of the practicality of the price tag. However, as soon as I opened the box I could smell the leather straight away.
Usually a pair of genuine leather loafers will cost you anywhere from $250 to $450 and Eve and Kane are managing to sell them for $159, which says a lot about how greedy other companies can be.
Obviously, if they are able to sell their shoes for this price, they are remaining profitable and definitely sticking to that message of affordable luxury.
The Construction of Eve and Kane Loafers
After doing a bit more research on the brand, I was able to find out a little more about the construction of their shoe and was also pretty impressed.
So the material for each shoe is hand cut and some parts are also hand stitched. This tells me that intense effort is being put into making these shoes and I’m still left wondering how they are able to sell them for so cheap lol.
It also looked like they’ve put some real effort into creating their own sole that is specifically unique to their brand. In my opinion, the shoes were extremely comfortable and they provide nice arch support which I thought was nice.
1 thing I did notice though was a slight size difference to the with the 2 pairs I got. My shoes size is a 9 UK which converts to a 10 US and both pairs were labelled as a 10 US, however the cherry ones were slightly looser fitting than the caramel ones which I found odd, but not off putting. The detail is this shoes is truly something!
Sustainability
Ok, a company with a good message and a kick-ass product is one thing, but what about a brand that does their part to help keep the environment stable?
One thing I really thought worth mentioning in this post was that the rubber soles incorporated in these shoes are made from 100% recycled rubber which shows they give a shit about sustainability. And you know what, I really dig that.
In Conclusion
All in all, I think these shoes are a pretty solid deal. You tell me where I can find a pair of handcrafted genuine leather shoes with recycled rubber soles with more variety than languages spoken by people on planet earth for cheaper than $159 bucks and I might change my mind, but until then good luck!
I said it once, I love a brand with a good message AND product and I will always be happy to share something good. I usually wear a size 10.5 in nike sneakers, any suggestions on how they fit? I want to grab a pair but curious about the sizing as driver shoes fits different than sneakers. I also want to wear it with liner socks.

Heya! Thanks for writing in! I usually wear a 9UK in NIKE sneakers which converts to a 10US. I got the 10US in these shoes (Which fit me) but I actually think a 9 for this particular shoe would have been a better fit in the end. So I would go a size smaller than your Nike sneaker size.
They also offer exchanges if they aren’t the right size which is cool. I think there’s like a 14-day exchange policy or whatever. So you can’t really fuck it up in the end :).
Let me know how you go with it and if you end up grabbing a pair, use the discount code from this post. it’ll get you 10% off your purchase.
Cheers,
